Great meeting people there thanks to the organisers and the elusive Minty for the passes

Bubble butts.

If I could have picked a car to go home in it would have been the beemer, the blurb said it had silver plated ashtrays and switches it was rescued from a breakers yard.

A Manta SRse.

Mercedes dash, nice work but I bet it hurts your face in a crash.

I like a MK1 Golfs clean lines, those flat, clear glass headlamps make it perfect.

What more do you need from a dashboard?

An unrestored NSU TT with a period sound system.

If you licked that Corrado it would taste fruity.

Stretch and poke can make it easier to read the small print on your tyres.

A3, needs another 20mm drop though.

Self portrait in a hubcap.

Self portrait in a door mirror, spot the bell end?

Tun's UR, I followed him in the convoy to Haigh hall and the car looked just right, we passed a young woman walking her dog who payed no attention to the passing shiny old cars until Tun's UR where she looked up and watched it go by, it's such an iconic car.

JJ's award winner in prep.

And another UR, there were loads of them.

Nogins tidy 80 TDi quattro which reminds me I forgot to get my Nogsport stickers.

See you all next year

Cheers Phil,
I love they way it sounds too, hence why I've placed my gauges in the radio slot as I really don't need one with the noise from the car!

My dad was talking to somebody at the show who I think he said was in a 200 about some door cards for my car.
Does anyone know who this is as I have been looking for a set of door cards for my car and if someone has a mint set I would love to buy them. Mine have speakers in and I don't want or need speakers in my door cards!

Best German Classics Show so far, for me. It simply gets better every year. It shouldn't be underestimated just how much time, effort and stress is involved for Phil to organise this. The qOC is in good hands with him on board for future Events. So firstly a big thankyou to Phil and Lorraine for all their hard work putting this show on. It is very much appreciated. Secondly, I was working Saturday night, at the show Sunday, and back in work Sunday night. To say I was bollixed this morning is an understatement. Just had twelve hours sleep, and I still feel dead. It was a pleasure to meet some fellow members for the first time. Some fantastic cars on the Classic Audi stand. Only took a few pics. A truly fantastic day.

The German food was epic as ever!

Spicy Bratwurst for my late breakfast and Ghoulash with potatoes for Sunday dinner!! Sorted!
