Firstly, many thanks to everyone for making today’s meet such a memorable one!

All of the cars looked absolutely stunning -
DanielGT500 – great job with the work done so far on your cabbie!

Leg2562 – hope you can get that wing paintwork sorted out for AITP8!

jogi730 – your reg plate and engine do-dar thingy made my day!

1781cc – thanks for scaring me half to death in your V10 beasty!

marcusR - credit to you mate, your UR is even more stunning close up!

Would also like to express my huge thanks to DanielGT500 for coming all the way from Norfolk!, as well as for letting me use your phone/wi-fi to check the CA forum for updates (enjoyed having your company for part of the drive home too!

) ~ to Jogi730 for doing such a great job with the photos ~ and to you all really, not just for turning out but for the great company and for expanding my Audi Quattro/model knowledge in general.

I’ll try to get some of my photo’s posted tm if I can, off to bed soon, has been a long albeit GREAT day – thank you all so very much!

Looks great guys and completely gutted to let leggy down after putting so much work in especially when I live just round the corner.

Standard me really, try to fit too much into one day all the time. Been ill all week so promised my Mrs I would stay in bed to rest and recover. No sooner had she gone out I found a bargain Toyota celica for 240 on gumtree. Next thing I am driving 100 miles north up the m1 to go and see it. Got there, bought it, rang around managed to get a recovery guy to come straight out and collect it. Then I drove home and had to wait around for the recovery guy to deliver. Finally when that was all done it was about 6.00 and it was completely hammering it with rain so any thoughts of popping over for an hour were gone and then by 7.00 being ill finally gitvthe better of me and I went to bed!

thanks at least for updating me/us during the day fella!

I/we did hold out for as long as possible for you, but in view of the weather, well we'd all had enough by 7.30pm and decided to call it a day.

I'm just so glad to know that you didn't turn up to find us all gone and that you made the sensible decision to go to bed.

[EDIT] oh and what's this? you've bought another Toyota?! - see, you shuda kept your gorgeous Audi buddy
