ripped skin off my knuckles , got all the suspension swapped over , changed the clutch , poly wishbone bushes . all going to ready for M.O.T and test run before ADI . Only to find out that the drilled 256mm discs i bought are too small . As the previous owner did 280mm brake upgrade , but did not tell me . i am now stuffed and budgeted out of ADI by having to wait 2 days after spending another £90 i dont have on 280mm discs . bummer and a half as i had budgeted £700 to get this all done on time . And going to ADI in a 2cv is not apt .

have a great time , you lucky buggers Cheers

I have had my fueling issues sorted so hope to come along for at least part of the day. Crikey, my Audi needs to spend some time with its own kind
Is there a convoy from London area peeps?

I am due to meet Leg2562 at Chieveley services off M4/A34 at 08.15 so should put the two of us for 9am (ish) arrival? Main car park.

Tag along if you like

We're going to struggle to make it I fear, the spanner in the works being work.... I won't bore you with the details, but I might not get home until the early hours now.

sadly, after waiting all week for the final parts to arrive for my 80, the one thing stopping it from getting an MOT has still not shown up (wiper motor). Gutted, so near yet so far, and Rob has been working all hours to get the car ready and cutting his hands to bits whilst crafting door cards out of ally sheets.

I'm afraid something has come up preventing me from attending too. Also gutted as this would have been the first Audi event I would have attended for years.
Next time I guess

What?? That's no excuse Surely you have another Audi to come in?

There seems to be a lot of people puling out at the last minute

I'll be there at least! Even if it is in a dirty car that's been rained on and driven around in all day that I spent all of yesterday afternoon waxing
