Not sure I like the abuse on this forum... a lot of rude people who slate others for having an opinion. Is it always like this? Feels a bit unpleasant. Considering reaching for the 'leaving' option... :/
If it comes across like that, please don't let it put you off. The main things is, most of the people who have posted in this thread, do know each other in 'real life' and are very good friends and everything said on here is all in good humour.
From an outside, it my seem that Mr Simmonds is a grumpy old git, but he's far from it in real life, I mean he's only in his 40's! that's hardly old!!!

Okay - understood :-) I'm not one of those sensitive types myself - I've got a big gob on me. But after a few days here, I've noticed it's a fairly tight group. It's a little intimidating to a newbie!

*Looks out the window at his Smart Roadster doubting himself*

it may seem tight, but we welcome newbies alike and hope they can join in the banter as much as us old folk!

No one flames newbies here!

we are a tight group , its because we all live so close to one another!!!

there is always a good bit of taking the piss on here, but never is there any serious hatefulness vented towards anyone at all, its all a bit of craic

"Rollerskate"? Psh. Right: let's get this out the way then...

"Where do you put the batteries?"

"Where is the remote control?"

"Do you have one for the other foot?"

Let's forget the Smart Roadster thing then. Also in my drive, I have an AUDI. It has a roof. It has not been ruined by chavs. And I fking love it.

Now... back to bald men in Ferarris. I was in Birmingham city centre last year and watched as a balding middle aged twit in a Ferrari on a not-so-sunny day pull up at the traffic lights with his roof down, revving hard as he did so.

A couple of teenaged girls ran up to him, threw a bag of chips in his face and ran away giggling joyously. The guy didn't move a muscle, instead staring at the red light, chips in his lap and across the interior of his vile penis extension of a car.

Lights went green and he stalled. One of the finest moments of my life, personally. I hope he went home and cried.

Default Ian is our Dirty Harry

Although, I think he's a little more now that he's had another 10valves installed. (like a lesbian that's just had a penis attached, and no longer fits in)
