That is why it is still for sale! I am still at a loss to why noone has snapped up MikeS2's Coupe quattro. A little bit of cosmetics and it would be spot on, which is more than accounted for in the asking price.

In part the price probably reflects the fact that it's sold by a dealer and he was to warrant the car. A private sale would see a lower price.

Having said that and without the benefit of up close and personal if it has good provenance and is clean and honest with good bodywork then I don't think £2K is unreasonable. You could probably barter the guy down and still come away with a warrantied car and a little bit of piece and mind (yes I know, not worth the paper they're written on yadder yadder).

Apart from the price, it's a decent looking motor.

Agreed pricey - but does look a good clean one. Its not far from me, might go and have a nosey on Saturday and report back.

The old dilemma again, do I get the 80 as good as I possibly can or do I get me a toy for next year. Oh what to do , what to do ?????
