its disgusting.

the scrapping of this little old car , i doubt will in anyway compensate the pollution and waist of resources that went in to making the beamer it was traded for.

I say we steel it?

Anyone know what the name of the garage is ?

If so, someone could ring up and ask if they'll sell it complete (ie in its correct shape with paperwork).

I hate this F*cking government! And ill have nothing to do with ANY garage that gets itself involved in this "scheme" of Mandlesons. The twat!

Yes im a little pissed off about this.

Lets see if we can save this car. Ill put some money up along with others here if it can save it.

Edited to add, i dont care who has the car,( i havent room) ill put some money in just to help save it- itd be a disgrace to allow it to go to the crusher, cmon, lets get it off em!
If we could get it off these tits, we could auction it on here to a member, put it Coxys "museum lol, whatever...it deserves to be saved from the brink.
Would the dealers really refuse a good offer?

£ 2160 and its yours, Spoke to them this morning, BMW need to recover the £2000 back for the car which they claim of Gordon Brown, The sales guy was friendly but said there no real chance of getting it back as thats how they get their £2000.

Even he said its a real shame as the car is rather mint and so low milage

Here in Portugal we do have the same scapre program, but in the yard they let us take out parts for some euros, in fact some yards have a website with all the vehicle available for parts and the time left to be crushed.

B@stards.
They con people into buying a brand new, pi$$ poor quality car, which will never get as old as that Audi there. The car they buy will be a technological fcuking nightmare that will break down more often than the older ones. It will depreciate faster, the paint will fall off quicker, and if it ever hits a pedestrian who should be watching where they're going, even at 2 mph, it will be a total loss insurance write off.
When I was a kid, there was a motorway bridge near Manchester, on an interchange between the M56 and the M63. Sadly it doesn't appear to be there anymore since they've changed it to that orbital motorway (M60 is it ?). Anyway, in huge spraypainted letters across the top of the bridge, it said "Fcuk the govt". Now I can see why. And they could spell.

Ill put 100 quid in the pot right now if it helps save it?

Anyone else?

Like i said, im not bothered about having the car or getting the money back i just want to save the 80, makes no odds where it ends up afterwards- be a good "club car" tho!
And itd be a good story to help shame Audi with...might even put a nail in the stupid scrappage scheme!

Im up for it.
