It must be over 4 weeks for me trying to get on - madness. A small fee of a £1.00 a year is nothing but is there the will from Admin?

What admin/moderation?
It’s coxy who has the power on here, he’s got zero apparent interest, doesn’t respond to messages etc etc
I’d quite happily pay/give time if it ensure Classic Audi survives

This forum has been an invaluable resource for me whilst restoring my Dad’s coupe and going forward I’d hope it would be helpful for doing the A4.

I would happily pay a subscription fee to help keep it going, these are niche cars and to get them right requires enthusiasts who actually care and know about them. Facebook groups are full of morons, a good forum is far superior but it needs moderation and policing to stop scammers and to help members get the best experience.

Classic Audi Facebook is useless for this sort of knowledge
It’s mostly populated by half wits who seem to know little or nothing about what they talk

I agree, some groups can be great but if they are allowed to get thousands of members with no moderation then they just become saturated with nonsense. I’ve tried asking a few questions on the Facebook page but the answers I got were far from helpful.

It’s just a collection of random threads and clueless kids who know little or nothing, there’s no structure or way of searching it, it’s bloody useless
These are old cars with declining mainstream interest, all the good info is historical and ON HERE not on ducking Farcebook
