Plastic outer window retaining clip.
I am reassembling a 1985 Audi Coupe GT 1994cc. This car has been off the road for seven years. The photographs show the part I require. It is the plastic retaining clip which fits through 8 elongated holes in the lower window aperture in the door thus retaining the outer window slot seal then going through the slot to retain the lower steel strip on the outside of the door. I need 10 of these plastic clips to get both doors in working order.
Does anyone know if these are readily available, as they may be used on other models, or where i could get some. Unable to take a photo. as each time i tried I exceeded The physical size restriction or he capacity restriction in M Bytes. Nevertheless the part required is about 18mm in length and 9mm in width (max) together with a raised piece to secure behind the elongated hole in the door. Hope this helps someone identify it. |

I got some from Audi Tradition a couple of years ago. Only a few pence each from memory.
These? https://shops.audi.com/en_GB/web/tra...erm=811853329E |

If 811853329E is the part number, then look up @Rickmeister on the A2owners Club forum who offers to handle group buys from Audi Tradition and hence overcome their resistance to ship to UK and also minimise postage.

811853329E plastic reaining clip.
Thank you both for your replies, you are correct Dave 811853329E is the part required but Audi Tradition will not supply a private person. I have looked up the A2 owners club site, as suggested by Vagdream, but can find no way of contacting Rick@Rickmeister, as I don't have an A2 I don't feel I can join the club. Can you please supply an address or tell me how i can make contact.
