For Sale
I have owned this car since 1996, and have covered approx 98k miles of the total 196595 recorded.
MoT expires 22nd November Insurance on 28th June. Open to offers by PM Can be driven away. If there are no offers before 20th June, it will be driven to the breaker who will pay me between £300 and £400 subject to inspection. Recent new items: Cam Belt and water pump; Distributor diaphragm; Ignition coil; Starter motor; Ignition switch;( starting is now by pushbutton ) Heater matrix; Not so new 200 Turbo radiator ( from my 200 Turbo RIP ) Other interesting items: Rear disc brake conversion fitted 20 years ago; Door handles OK Discs are good. Tyres are good. H&R Springs Koni Sport adjustable ( and rebuildable) dampers. These transform the handling!! It has new fuel lines, and sections of the brake lines have been replaced. The fuel tank was removed at the same time, and rust attended to - it doesn't leak. I taped over the gap between the sunroof when the footwells started getting wet - I never did find out where the water got in. It has a Longlife stainless steel exhaust. Good battery Oil consumption is virtually nil, although there is a weep at the front of the sump which leaves an annoying patch on the drive Gearbox : Notchy - linkage? Bodily : Damage at nsr at lamp cluster area. Rust in usual places Front wings rusty Rear bumper cover held on by tywraps. Tow bar Bonnet is 200 and not Nile green. Headlamp reflectors are just about legal. Negative points: Central locking pump pneumatics - sometimes takes a long time for pump to stop. Brakes: Recent issue with pedal travel, but no fluid loss. Felt like master cylinder failure, but after bleeding brakes and road tested , pedal now ok. There are also many type 44 parts mainly for the KP engine model, incl. brake seals. It all has to go.
