Well, I'd hoped it would work out differently, but I'm flying out to Marseille at lunchtime on the 5th.
Maybe next time...

So is the meet on ? I still don't have a place to start the refurbishment and i'm sure it could make the long journey west...

Due to lack of interest I have not continued to promote in and left it at that. However if there in more interest around summer then maybe something could happen then.

Hi, all.
I'm operating our Exeter-Royal Mail route in a few weeks time, which sort of starts late evening on the Monday, and conveniently finishes at around 3am on Saturday, 25th March.
So, I've decided to take my own car westwards for that week, and use it as a jumping off point if anyone felt sociable.

What's Frank up to?
Any others?

First a question ? "operating the Exeter-Royal Mail route" ? Presume night shifts? Driving? Flying ?

And in answer to your kind invitation, I have to confirm no Audis in the stable now.

Unfortunately, I also have a function I need to attend on the 25th ( friends emigration party ) so a drive up country probably not the best of ideas for me .

If Jonathan gets Jake and anyone else fired up later on in the year, I'll come along in a Scirocco.....it does, after all, look a LITTLE bit liked a squashed B2 Audi Coupe if you squint your eyes a lot !!!

Thanks for thinking of me though!

Thanks Bruce, at least the Scirocco is like a little sister to the bigger Audis.....after all its got the same heart as an Audi Sport with its 1800 DX engine. And it goes like **** off a shovel too.
