You can dismantle them and swap the glass... All you need is the 'chrome' reflectors ultimately, but a glass swap is a lot easier (assuming your current flat lamp glass isn't broken or stone chipped beyond MOT compliance). The biggest PITA of rebuilding headlamps is the adjuster mechanism, avoid damaging them at all cost.
