Default audi a6 inlet manifold temp sensor fault

Hi

Can anyone help?

I have a 2001, 2.4 Audi A6. The engine light has been coming on and the fault was intake temp sensor. we have changed the intake temp sensor and the coolant temp sensor and some vacuum hose that was split. The engine light is now but the fault remains in the computer and it will not clear.

Any ideas?

Use VAG-COM/VCDS measuring blocks to see if ECU sees -40 degrees temp from it [infinite resistance] or what, if it does, check wiring and connector.
