Having come through the Rally of the Midlands this weekend (running demonstration in front of the field with the Group B club) almost unscathed, we can now start looking forward to Goodwood.

AM’s offer to the rally stage organisers of providing a car was received with interest, but on seeing some photos, they asked him to bring the lot, cars, service wagons and all.

Adam invited us to take our car along as well. With the Eifel Rallye Festival only a couple of weeks afterwards, I was reluctant to tackle the rally course itself, which is renowned as a bit of a car breaker. But I am well chuffed to be part of the display in the paddock, in fact it is a huge honour to have our car, which we built in my garage, at such a prestigious event!

So I’ll be taking the car up on Wednesday and we’ll be there on Friday, some of Saturday and then Sunday (maybe with a hangover ).

Saturday and sunday.
The Belgian Nothelle Coupé is there, so I have to watch this.
Still looking for a B&B room though, impossible to find!

Ive lived the there for 12 years, Chichester hotels are booked years in advance, you will have to travel maybe 20-30 miles to find a b&b.

Try looking around the town of Petersfield for a b&b or hotel.

The road between Petersfield & Goodwood is a great driving road.

I now live 27 miles from Goodwood, it will take me 45 minutes to drive on Thursday. There are b&bs in Alresford and Cheriton near me if nothing in Petersfield.

A b&b has just opened near me called The Ropley, they may have a room.

For once I'm sorry to have been right when I said it'd be next to impossible. Did you try the campsite I suggested?
