Default Flywheel weight

Hi,

Does anyone knows the weight of the flywheel from a KG engine?

Default Need Help

Hi again,


I need your help if someone knows about the position of the timing pin on the flywheel.
I will change my KU engine with KG, but the doner Car have Auto transmition which means that it doesn t have flywheel and i am going to modifie and use mine flywheel without timing pin.Any help it would be usefull.

Well a KV fiywheel is 15kg if that helps.

what are you after with regards to flywheel weight
If its as a comparison, the lighter flywheels were fitted to the 7A and RR/3B 20V 5 cylinder engines at around 10.5Kg, though mine still runs perfectly with an 8.5 Kg lightened 3B flywheel ( though engine has also been fully balanced which helps)

Default Little update

Well the weight of my flywheel ,KU engine, was 13.7 kg and now is 12,3 kg after i have machined from the engine side to remove the "ears" and put the timing pin for the ignition. in a few days we will try to start the engine end see what we have done....

Default timming pin

Hi, i need some informations about the reference timming pin because i have no spark at all .
Before start to check all the ignition system i want to check the basic settings .
The engine is KG with Mac-05 ecu .How many teeths is the timming pin before TDC mark on the flywheel?
