Default 80 CD with TSR 2.3 Pk 'C' head
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : Audi 80 CD
Price : £350
Location : Bournemouth
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook)

I've finally given up on getting my 1983 80 CD running again. It used to have 1.9 WN engine and I transplanted a KV unit into it with a TSR 'C' pack head and refurbished bottom end that had done 30k. The engine rebuild cost £2,350 back in 2004 & came from my 2.3 Coupe.
I should have realised the amount of work to switch from a carb to an injected engine; so I've never got it to run. For sale now as a project.
Would still yield some useful parts, no least the engine - receipts available for work done to engine at TSR. PEP 400Y valued at £400, but a bit academic now it is a non-runner. (A few bits missing that I borrowed for my other cars, but virtually complete. Some rust in car, but by no means a rust bucket!
I'll post some photos later.

Thanks for that Willie. Yes; it was a really nice drive on the short journey I did with it, but the WN had a ring gone. Wish I'd just fixed that and it would have been a rareish CD saved. I've got an auto CD and they'd have made a nice pair. Ah well, maybe someone will save it :-). G.
