Hello all, yes sorry it's me again!!
Today I replaced my pump in the drivers door hoping it would fix my problem of not been able to lock the door! On further investigation the pump is fine, but when the door card was off I noticed the pin which moves up and down with the pump was not moving much at all hence why the door isn't locking, other symptoms are that I can't lock the driver door at all not even with the key, when locking from the passenger side the door pin stays up but the door still doesn't lock, the alarm and immobiliser still sets, and the pin can't be pushed down from the inside either! I'd be very grateful of any help and advice... Again thanks again everyone ![]() |

I have exactly the same problem. Been to a garage and it works when it feels like it. Any progress on your own?

Is the cable located correctly into the internal door opening lever, if not quite right the door locking operation can not try and lock a door which is trying to be opened
Or to put it another way, if you were trying to open the door from inside by just pulling slightly on the lever, your locking op would not be able to function, its all to do with the inner cable separating properly from the outer cable. I hope that makes sense, I'm very tired Stuart |
