Default 200 mile wasted journey

Arranged early this weekly collect 2 front wings from an e-Bayer.

Up at 6am battered down M6 got there at 08.30am as arranged, no sign of seller called him, no answer, called again sleepy voice says "what" I say who I am he replies "oh forgot about you" he then tells me he's about 30min away and can't drive, so I get his address and head to pick him up, get there call him "give me 10mins I fell asleep". 30 mins later, matey finally appears we head back to his yard, get here, he can't get in cos "someone changed the padlock" 30mins later his mate appears we go inside......

Seller "Here you go"
Me "what's that"
Seller "the wings"
Me "wrong colour and there dented and scratched"
Seller "really? I never noticed"
Me "we'll there no good to me"
Seller "why"
Me "Er cos there the wrong colour and dented"
Seller "you could fill it and paint it"
Me "if I wanted to do that I would have done that with the 2 silver wings I already have"
Seller "oh........so you don't want them then"
Me "what do you think???"
Me "think I had better go before I do or say anything I might regret!!"
Seller "any chance of a lift home"
Me "F#### OFF !!"

Happy bloody Easter......

I'd have given him a lift - to the middle of nowhere, as far from where you picked him up, and kicked the tosser out.

I'm sorry to hear you had a wasted journey, I've been in the same sort of situation myself and know what it's like. It's not just the waste of time but fuel aswell, it's no joke the price it is.

Ebay does seem to have it's fair share of complete tossers using it, but I suppose you get that anywhere.

Make sure we all know his ebay handle so we can avoid like the plague.

Or accidentally contact him, ask him to bring the doors to an address 50 miles away from where he lives, and then laugh at him when he rings up to find out where you are....
As if I'd do that!

I would've beat the s$&t out of him and taken wings anyway. People like this should be reported to the Police imo.

A long ride in the boot of a car with a final destination of Saddleworth Moor sounds just the ticket.....
