How do you find out what member number you are? I am a complete newbie by comparison!!

Micky, as for banter, I love to read some of the stuff, especially between John Johnson, Isimmo and yourself - I figure it helps once you have met people. I intend to get to a meet this year.

I suppose things do change, but Classic-Audi remains the best. Thanks to Coxy and to everyone here for making it what it is

it says your number is 5074. however as we only have 3942 members, and you've been here for 18 months, I'm not quite sure why!

I did delete about 500-1000 fake and spammed accounts and have very strict spam filters in place so they very rarely slip through the net now though, although an attempt at a user registration may increase the member count each time it happens.

19/04/2008 for me, Member 283, I joined after seeing an article on Alistair's collection of old Audi's in Audi Driver mag. I didn't use the internet much back then and didn't even have broadband. (or a sat nav !! )

I attended Audi's in The Park in August 2009, which was the first time I met anybody off here and started the Noggin n Natter's the month after.

Back then, Saturday evening's could often be hilarious with the famous Classic Audi thread drifts !! A lot of people use facebook for that nowadays.

These people were real, not just Audi anoraks I thought, it wasn't just about cars

As many of you know, Sally and I met on here at the second Noggin n Natter and we married in August last year with a good few members in attendance.

Have I or would i recommend this forum to anybody - you bet i would

5074 it is then! Is it because I only paid up as a fully -fledged member in the last month or so?

My first post was 19-09-07. So I'll count from then. Still here, just not very active! Sadly for me the Audi World ( rallying in particular) has kicked me a few too many times and lost its edge a little.
