Are you looking at fitting it yourself?

John.
Toad seems to be cropping up a lot I know years and years ago toad was known for German quality and was found on a lot of VW, Audi, mercs so on. I have an auto electrician I use now and again so I'll be sending it to him, I know then it'll be a reliable install. Thanks

Hi mate, Yes Clifford are a pain in the bum aspecially the new ones. I had one on my very first Audi 80 this was back in the days when they were built pretty good! But know I have had a Cobra Alarm Fitted to my Audi Coupe it has all you require, and is very reliable never had any issues with it! Price are not stupid like Clifford Alarms! Good Luck with the Hunt Mate

At least if it's fitted professionally then you'll get a certificate of installation and it will likely be insurance friendly.

toad ,autowatch, selca are all good systems as long as there fitted correctly. A cat 1 fitted properly will take most of the day to do. If they say a couple of hours walk away.

Friendly insurance is the key... The last alarm he fitted took him a good 8-10 hours and never went wrong, got the certificate and the insurance loved me, along with a locked garage lol looking into a toad one I've seen that could drive the car too if I asked it
