Interesting given it doesn't state it's a CAT 'C' car. Definitely not £13k's worth of car now (not that it was before!)

Cat c usually means reducing the value by 1/3 or 1/4 (that's not an empirical measurement) so I'd suggest its worth about 2/3 at most of the price, take into account the colour as well then perhaps 1/2 what he's asking, but the cat c stigma will probably mean a 'no sale'.
I wouldn't touch it with JJ's! (Sorry JJ!!!)

Just asked him if he knew it was Cat 'C' and he's come back with the old:

"I did a check and it didn't come back as written off so as far as I know it's not!"

Oh and he has no information or history on the engine conversion!

As previously said, £6k tops, and that'd be for parts of a bloody brave punt!

that info came from SIMI database, so something has happened to it at some stage for it to show up

your right it would be a very brave punt at that sort of money , it could be a very good car though all the same , just priced over the odds, seems to be the norm these days though with urs, they are all hefty money

Nice, JJ!
Trouble is, some uninformed non-member if Classic-Audi will see that price and put his up for sale based on this yella-peril... Then wonder why it doesn't sell.
But as I always say, what people want and what they get....
A good example, as I discussed with stevet63 a few days ago, an RS200 has been up for sake at Ron Hodgkinson
For £124k forever, yet the 1066 miles from new one sells at auction a few weeks ago for £101k; some people just don't 'get' the market (but ill not mention 4star Classics or Oakfields again, I promise).
I think this Ur is worth £6k at most.
