Well I've just seen the car, the guy started off calling it a stunning rare old car! Ha

Its nothing special, well at that price anyway.
The engine runs well once its warm, although the starter protested when it was turning over.
There are a few scratches on it, general wear and tear by the look of it. Also bubbling on the osf wing and a some round the nsr arch.
There is water ingress in places, the drivers carpet is soaked. Plus the grommets have been removed in the boot under the rear light clusters. An extra seal has been stuck onto the tailgate at some point, I guess the previous owner tried it although the leaks clearly come from the rear lights.
Two of the speedlines are bent and another has a load of the bolts missing.
Only had a quick nosey underneath and its got a reasonably new exhaust on it.
The door cards are the original grey pinstripe cloth with light wood veneer, the seats are the half grey leather from V6's. The fronts had covers on, mainly due to the poor condition of the passenger base, which has been shredded.
I didn't see aircon but I wasn't actually looking for it. Only saw that on the ad afterwards when I checked that again. Its the standard 4 spoke steering wheel (no airbag).
I did tell him about the bhp figure and he claimed it ebay input the details automatically?

I would prob only pay 5-600 quid for it if I was looking for an NG quattro. He's turned down an offer of 700 apparently.
Its just a bit baggy but could be tidied up if someone was inclined to do so.
I've seen better examples at that money though.

I'll get some pictures up when I get online at home.

Just spotted another coupe going past there after I wrote that post.
reg L*** MMJ and 16v I think.
It appeared tidy and in silver, looked to be lowered with aftermarket 17"s.
I followed it onto the A45 then it went right at Baginton island up the A46.

Anyone on here at all?
