I know you're 'frugal' John, but surely you can afford a few more bulbs?

For the first time SWMBO and myself aren't buying each other anything substantial until after Christmas when the sales are on; I look at it as either getting substantially more for the money spent, or spending substantially less for the same stuff.
Timberland at Meadowhall will take a hit methinks!

There's more lights on the car dash .... Her indoors has deemed the tree a no go area for me ... The baubles are hand mad guff and I fear they saw her coming in June apparently

I thought you were being a bit unrealistic when you said the amount of baubles wouldn't cover yer manhood but you ain't wrong!!

Our christmas tree is staying in the loft this year, with 3 dogs (one of which is a scatty poodle cross puppy) it would be a bit like pissing in the wind.

I don't think you'd even think christmas is even coming to our house.

There's a house on the hill opposite us and he's got a fir tree about 60foot high I guess and it is covered in lights. He's about 2 miles away I guess but it sticks out on the horizon like Blackpool tower.
