Default Pristine quattro

Saw this at a small classic car show in my village on Saturday.

It's a B-registered example that's part of a private collection of classic cars put together by the owner of a local VW & Audi dealership. I couldn't see the dash as it's digital so I managed to find the chap who'd brought it along and he told me it had covered just 3500 miles.... no wonder it looks like new!

that does look fantastic,
it's a shame if they are weights on the wheels ?

I wondered about those weights - would they be original?

Hi John, I didn't spot any paint runs but I suppose it is getting on for 30 years old so could have had some paint, but you would expect it to be top quality considering who owns it. It was on display with an orange 1972 Beetle and white Jag XK140 DHC from the same collection. The Beetle was a one-previous-owner example in amazing condition.

Front wings ...... And iirc rear qtr . It's because it's been pushed on and off trailers all over the shop and been a bit mistreated , some one in the past remembers it sat about looking a bit neglected before it was cool to trundle the old tart out for a bit of pr , I've got a few pictures of it in th glass box at meadow head and it's sat above you at waist height and you can have a good butchers when it's in that . A mate sent me a few pictures of it in storage a few years back too
