Just spotted this on Pistonheads. Alpine White non sunroof Coupe quattro. Appears to be nice and unmolested. BD plate, so very likely to be originally a VAG Press car too. I like it.

Thats nice... Is it me or have prices started creeping up on these as well? 3 years ago they were hanging around the £1000 mark for a nice one. Are they selling for this kind of money or just starting prices? That passenger door looks a little like it doesn't quite match the rest of the car, unless I'm due a visit to the glasser shop!

I think prices are starting to rise a little for good examples, and not before time - just think what you'd pay for a GTI Golf of the same year in similar condition - scene tax bollocks !

And I'm not against the Golf's at all, had 2 Mark 1's and 2 Mark 2's before graduating to the four rings

Totally agree, £3500 £5000 for a Golf?....same daft tax as the LT35 versus a Transit.
