Yup, no battery can last a whole night of that! This is the same digi dash that Pete rebuilt for me after it effectively caught fire three days before my wedding in 2009! It's just not powering down when the ignition is off.

As I've only driven 300 or so miles since then I've not got it sorted yet! But the time is coming!

Get some WD40 and push the little red straw into the lock and blow a load in so that it displaces any moisture that could potentially freeze in future. It works for me and it's always bloody cold here!

Might be an idea for the Moderator to remove the best advice as to how to break into a quattro without damaging the door from the earlier related thread. Wasn't the best idea I've ever had putting that on line for all to read!!
