Unhappy We had,none.

Seems we were(Merseyside) the only place in the whole country, that didn't have snow.
Looking out the window now,the sun is cracking the flags.(cold though)

Bugger all last night, but I just finished changing the Renault's gear selector cables. It was nice and staightforward, but there had to be one spring clip that forced me into laying in the gutter in 4 inch of snow. Luckily I'd got my waterproofs on so it was actually rather mild.

We had nothing either up on the N.Wales coast...

...but I made a 180mile round trip last night to go and play in some!

Needless to say I've spent most of today washing the rock salt out of all the nooks and crannies on the CQ!

Was the last night coldest in this winter in UK as well? Last night here was around -28c, I'm wondering how cold it was in eastern part of latvia, because usually here is around ~10c warmer than there... At the same time we don't have much snow. From the point of fun, that's not nice - today I tried some quattro winter fun for the first time in my life, and it's not very pleasant when you have poor tyres and roads covered with ice. So I drifted around garages, not much further

Ah, yeah, forgot about this pic, I took it yesterday.

This is what you can see here on rivers and lakes in winter. This is in very heart of Liepāja.

None here (as usual).

-9 when I left for work Saturday morning though, coldest I've seen it here!
It was above zero by midday and raining by 5.
Sunday was nothing special and today it's 6 degrees .

Fetched the old girl home again today, bit of burning to the collector shoe-gear but beyond that, it's fine... Really has been a lovely clear, crisp day here, with snow covered Weald and Downland, then a run through the suburbs... Very nice, all on my own, just me, my loco and I...
