Default Coupe GT for sale
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : Coupe GT 2.2
Price : £650
Location : Newcastle under Lyme, Staffs
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook)

With a very heavy heart, I am putting my coupe up for sale. I just don’t have the time to finish it, and yet it is almost there. My work and family commitments just mean that i can’t give her the time. My job now involves staying away from home a lot and when I get back the last thing the wife and kids want is me disappearing off to the garage. Also with the winter coming in I do not want her to stay outside for another winter, otherwise she may as well be in a salvage yard. She is quite study, with very limited rust and will not need too much to get her to look good. She currently runs. Just done breaks, suspension, exhaust and is solid. Needs plugs and new leads. She has rust on one of the wheel arches and bottom of the A pillar. She comes with a lot of service history up to 141k when she was parked. I will post some pictures I took today.

If I don’t get any interest I will try and see if I can get a dry lock up otherwise she will be off to the breakers.

No to far. needs a set of new tyres but I have got a set which will come with the car. I thought that it may need some welding but the garage have checked and say it will not. It will need some new plugs and may need a set of new leads. I did not want to drive it with any rust showing and will not have the time/money to get perfect it which means the rust on the arches will just grow and if it stays out for another winter more rust may appear. It drives - my mechanic has removed the rear calipers to stop them siezing but those can be put back on quickly as we have just put on new discs and pads and done the handbreak as well. Interior is fine no rips or tears on any seat. If i had some dry staorage I would just put it away until the spring. Garage already full - being used as an overspill for the house. Also the wife wants a V70 (which I have already acquired and just need to pick up) and can not just having three cars.

Folks,

Have not been on here for a while but I have been lurking! Hope everyone is okay. Anyyway a while ago, I took posession of an 80 1.8 G Reg. It is a one owner car from new with 99K on the clock and everything on it works but I have just had it parked and it is too good to just scrap or just let sit and rot. I have put it on Gumtree and here is the link. Is anyone interested? Please make me a good offer otherwise it will be crushed. i dont even have the time to srip it down. Everthtign on it is mint. It has no rust, no leaks nothing. Has been parked for two years but starts first time.
