buy our local football team (Telford United) and start up a proper training academy for young footballers.
Open up an art gallery.

Buy a few cars, and spend most of my days going to classic car auctions buying for the sake of it!

was thinking about this the other night. Imagine going to a bank and saying you want to deposit £166m.

That would cost the bank £8m a year in interest alone. I guess that that's how banks operate and they'd be investing this money to make more out of it, but that's a massive amount of interest each year which the bank has to pay out.
Given you'd be on over half a million pound a month in interest alone, you'd have a pretty hard job ever getting rid of it all.

And yet, the banks manage to do it so well.

You lot have got some small aspirations. I reckon, at best, there's only a couple of million accounted for there

How about buy an island, recruit several top scientists and an army and then start world domination???

I heard an interesting debate on late night radio the other day....
Would you prefer £161 million or live to be a 1000???

or to rephrase the memorable quote

I'd spend it on women and drink and waste the rest

my 'otherstuff' is rather undefined.
Much of what I would do would be accounted for in interest only.

I can imagine a bit of charity work-
1. Assassinate Mugabe

I bet you could buy up a lot of bad loan properties, and become a major force in property rental.

I would buy an island. I suspect Greece may have some up for sale, soon.
I'd also blow a load on a space flight

As for living to 1000, I'm not sure that beyond 2017 is of much interest.
