For those who want to, Wicksteed Park is very easily walkable from Kettering railway station.

Straight out of the station and up Station Road about 80 yards or so, then turn right. You'll see a large garage (no fuel) on the left of that road - the guy is an ABSOLUTE STARK RAVING Reliant Scimitar fruitcake and usually has up to twenty on the premises. Do not enter and ask questions unless you have an hour to spare.

Then continue on that road - up the hill and round to the left - until the T-junction with Wellingborough Road; at that point it's the A6 and A509 combined. Turn right and walk a bit over a quarter mile to the mini-island where the A6 (to Burton Latimer) and the A509 (to Isham and Wellingborough) split.

You've arrived. Possibly knowing more about Reliant Scimitars than you wanted.

Right now looking at lateroomsdotcom for a nearby hotel with at least indoor pool and and WiFi.

Have we got any other Threads on here regarding e.g. Saturday, BBQ and so on that I might have missed?
Kettering Park Hotel & Spa is nice and only about a mile away. (stayed there a few weeks ago)

But judging from the silence around the event here on CA I might be the only, lonely person going there this year?

I got my wristband, tnx!
We'll be there, but if it clashes with our house moving date, we'll be having to give it a miss.
We'll be moving in 5-6 weeks time so no plans for any shows after the 18th July at present.

We've got our provisional move date today which is August 17th.
Given that we have no chain, this could be earlier, but knowing solicitors etc, it could be later!

The move date will be when I got the keys in my hand!
