Default One for Coxy's Driveway..

Thought you'd like this one mate. I can remember racing one of these against another back to the garage when my shift finished. Leyland had just installed a brand new engine in it and boy could it fly.. none of this barely 40mph crap that all the others were governed back to... Happy Days indeed

I used to love the sound of the engines on the slightly earlier versions of these. Saddo i know.

Nope, nothing sad there amigo, I used to enjoy driving them it was the public that I didn't like. Lols!

I would love to drive a bus also a HGV just to see how difficult they are to drive (but it would have to be on the road NOT a test circuit)

I can remember just how these sound too.

We had loads of these in my home town when I was a kid.
Nice purring diesel sound.Unmistakeable.

Poke claying it though!! And you'd have to be pretty wired to machine polish it.The roof would be much fun though.Theres something about bus surfing

my mate worked on the Leyland National ect he started at bmmo - midland red the only diecent thing leyland ever made the cars were dire
