So far this...
Gone almost 15 years.

Eventually, my CGT will run circles around it.

I have several cars which are all up there for different reasons - and all Audi's!

1) My first ever car was an M reg Audi 80GL. This has sentimental reasons as it belonged to my dad. In 1982, it was given to me by my dad as my 21st birthday present.

Having blueprinted the engine, I got hit from behind pulling out onto a roundabout> Car was written off.

2) My first car purchase - 1983 Audi 80 Sport. Very fast at the time 1800i engine.

3) My first quattro - 1984 Audi 80 quattro (2.2) with Kamei X1 kit.

4) My current 1985 Audi 90q. This probably just edges it as I have been through so much with this car it has almost become part of me.
Bought in 1997, became TSR second ever 2.6 conversion - first with addition of K-Star (199bhp). Very torquey engine.
Intallation of 3B 20vt (390bhp). Fantastic and should have left alone.
T61 - first attempt. Beset with problems and introduced me to lag. F**king fast when it finally took off and worked!
Gt35R - Complete disaster.
T61 - Second attempt with smaller exhaust housing and reworked head. No idea how this will perform yet, but all the indications are positive and I am more excited at the prospect of how this will work than I have ever been by a car. Hope it lkives up to my expectations, but should know soon!

Back in 1989 a year before being able to learn to drive, we went to Berkhamptead for some reason, next to the garden centre were 4 Outspan cars (they had smooth bodywork though more like the cream egg car) parked behind a locked gate all up for sale at £500 each. I wanted to buy one for a laugh and my folks said no

Be worth a bloody fortune now......

Would have looked stupid driving it though
