Default are a8 2.8 worth breaking?

anyone know anything about these big boys? ive been offered one and im wondering are they worth the time/effort of breaking?? '98 model btw, fwd i think??

haven't seen the car in the flesh, but im told the cars in good enough nick with only couple small problems. driving good, no mechanical probs.nearly cheap enough to consider weighting it in, thats why im wondering how much of its aluminum

If its in pretty good nick, slap a mot on it and sell it, you will get good money.
