Whos car is this.....?

Spotted just off jct 23 of the M5 (Bridgewater) in a layby. Luckily i had my camera with me.
Didn't think 80's were named "GTE" in the Uk. It looks real tidy, with just the usual wear on the drivers seat bolster (creativly repaired!).
I left a note under his/her windscreen wiper, so you never know....

Oddly enough, I think I saw the same car yesterday, Is that the layby on the Street side of the M5 on the hill about 400yrds from the Jcn, went to see my folks, it was there about lunchtime but when we headed back about 8pm no sign of it.

Yeah, you must have seen it about the same time i stopped there to take the pics. When i stopped there it hadn't been there long. The bonnet was still warm.

that's a tasty bit of rocking horse shit.

It's registered as an 80GTE as well.

Do other cars get out your way thinking you are a police car, or is your car speed logged via GPS???
