Maybe the price on his head just isn't worth the trouble!

Well chaps..... this is either our last day in the EU prison with freedom on its way or the start of a life sentence for us and our offspring shackled to a bloated parasite sucking us dry.

I'm voting for the door to be opened.

To say in advance: Its not my intention to give somebody unwelcome advice. And even if my English is not good enough for a political discussion - after reading this whole threat, I‘m asking me some questions.

I am aware of the high degree of emotionality in this question. And from the distance (Germany) one can recognise a debate led in biting tone culminating in Jo Cox‘ murder. I guess one can see coherences with the refugees debate in Germany. The „AFD“ a new founded party, scooping up voters on the right and unfortunately also in the middle of the electorate. But in the discussion they don‘t really argue, they rather fan fear, fear of Islamism, foreigners, and feeling of being overwhelmed by immigrants. They fan fear and provide simple resolving for all of our problems. That‘s not the way to solve real existing problems.

I don‘t believe that GB will be stronger when they are out. They will pay a high price for leaving the EU. An example from my view: With my small company I‘m doing good business all over Europe and other foreign countries. For me it is always laborious to sell my goods / services to non EU countries like Norway, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia aso.- and may be soon it will be the same with Great Britain. But for me it is only inconvenient - for my customers it is above all notably more expensive. High shipping costs and customs duties increase in significant way. And I‘m sure, in the end this will increase all costs in GB significantly. Let alone the fear of economists, markets, banks aso. Thats what I think about the benefits for the British economy when they are out. And I actually read that (I guess affluent) British exchange their GBP to US$ and €.

I am aware of the high dues GB is paying (No. 2 behind Germany) for the EU budget. And I also know that a lot of this money is blown by Brussels bureaucrats. May be that the EU grew up too fast and too furious and may be there are some members that possibly should not belong to (as yet). No one can be content with all that bull.... But the EU is young and it has to learn. And it needs us, our turnout. I think it is not useful to criticise politicians without going to vote.

I respect the British pride (most Germans don‘t know that kind of feeling because of our inglorious history in the last century) but nationalism will not get somebody anywhere. Nowhere. Globalisation creates its own (often crappy) rules -if we like it or not. I don‘t believe that any nation can get out of it. So we should stay firm together. I believe that Europe needs a strong Britain and Britain needs a strong EU. Let it grow up.

So I would call out: Great Britain, please don‘t leave.

But sadly in the end the result of the referendum will be unsatisfactory no matter how it goes. Because many people will not find the outcome they wanted to have.

I honestly think most people wouldn't want to leave, if the EU had remained a trading block with the undoubted benefits you describe.
