Funny that pearl was an extremely popular colour in the US for Audi's.........

Must be a taste thing, anyway white is the new black....

thanks for the info

i havnt checked the boot yet or the service book, but i have the original bill of sale and it says alpine white. so the next question is colour code the original ronals or go for bigger white rims. any suggestions? oh and what is the feelings on painting the mirrors

depends if you are going for a nice fresh factory look or going to do some other mods. May look a bit odd if it's the only other body coloured mod done.

and if not done right, the paint will peel and start to look a bit sad after a short while leaving you to wish you hadn't done it.
That said, if you see Dav's thread on the build of his brothers B3 80 Sport, he's done a lot of painting of the trim to a very high standard. But, each piece of plastic trim took many hours of flatting!
