The Roadsters are a huge amount of fun, just chuck them before they go wrong.

Or trade them in at motorpoint and tell whoever buys it from Auction4cars "Good luck"

Hehe - I did something similar at the start of last year. Up until this week when all the oil made a break for it out of the coolant header tank, it seemed a good idea. To be fair though, it'd been no trouble at all for 15k miles up to that point.

I've just replaced it with a Felicia Pickup truck, mainly because it was the first thing that came along, but I've always kind of fancied one.

I must add that I did sell it the day after. I wasn't having it take up space on the drive for any longer than a day

lol! Nice detective work!!

was dropped off by a driver this morning. He had a smile on his face after driving it. All the lads at work went out in it and came back smiling, then it was my turn....and I have to say, pound for pound, it's worth every penny! Autobox is well, typical of all Smarts, but the handling.....superb! Went round the island first at 40, then at 50, then 60 and still it didn't feel like it was going to let go! Didn't turn off the traction control button though!
I got it cheap as it had a roof problem (i.e. it didn't work!).

20 minutes later and it's working a treat!!

Still waiting for my next random purchase to strike... could happen at any minute without warning.

(shifted some scrap metal and wood so think I've got another parking space now.)

for it to be totally random, you need to step out side of the box, take 10 steps backwards, turn around and just pick something you wouldn't normally be seen dead in. e.g. a Lada or a Smart car.

I think you need a Lada Niva Cossack in your life!

Always like the look of them! Depending what you read, you get 'built like tanks' or 'unreliable as hell'. sounds just like an old audi.

Have looked at them too! Quite rare.. Normal pandas were great fun wee things, great handbrake to weight ratio.
