Cool.

As you see have had a change of heart with the S6 and going to do a bit of work to get her back to some sort of glory, or maybe that of a couple of years ago!!!

I have not driven it in a few months until Today, still an awesome car and to be honest I think it is quicker than the A4 I bought short ago (3.0 TDI 233 model). Competely different delivery but the long gears over the TDI I think overcome the lower torque of the AAN.

Quite excieted about doing some work and keeping it going! Still after a decent 90 short to medium term too though!!

Good question on the one in Rugby, will give a full update shortly, sorry been flat out and needing to think about getting the S6 through its MOT shortly which has focused the mind. The 90 in Rugby could still be on the cards, conflicting info a wee bit on the exhaust but will see what happens. It does not seem to be moving fast. I have just been offered a 90Q 20V Sport which I had a good look over/run in this week end. Oddly enough this has made me more interested in getting my S6 back to fit state again. I must upload your photos of the Rugby 90 to the original car thead on here just in case anyone else is interested.

The S6 I have is dark blue (not sure of actual colour or code) but stunning colour in my mind.

I was very tempted by your S6 Mark , it looks lovely when all
Spruced up as you say & looks to be quite a rare colour isn't ?
So the 90q (rugby ) has gone quiet ?, shame it sounds like a gooden
Apart from the hassle of getting it up to you ,
What's the score with the 90 20v ?, some say they are better than
The 90q, as they are lighter & still handle very well ,
There's a guy in club audi ,who goes on track at castle Combe ,
With a 2 wheel drive 20v , with some upgrades , goes like s... of a shovel
Here's a YouTube link of it on track ,

Did you think about it once Chris? It has been a funny car to me, I have got bored of it many a time and have offered it for sale a few times. I have had a few folk luke warm at times and did have it on ebay once. However when I have had firm offers, and the time it just missing the reserve on ebay, I could not let it go. I seem to fallen in love with it once again though which is good as it will get the attention it needs this next while and it will live on. Amazing old cars, and forgot how it can go and handle. As I say think it is way better in those departments than the A4.

It is strange too as when I had and the 90 the 90 felt the "old" car the S6 the modern car and always prefered the 90 over it. Now I have the A4 the S6 is now the old car and have been shifting the A4 from the drive to get the S6 out all week end. Old cars eh! Can't beat them.
