It is correct,if its a B plate it will be one of the first with with colour coded spoiler and boot plus tinted rear lights.

Ah but it all depends whether it is an 84 or and 85 model year car, my first WR is registered B754 AHM but is a late 1984 model year car. Hence she has coloured tail lights, black spoiler and flat front, but is and always was registered on a 'B'. So all we can say without seeing a clear picture of the car in questions interior to establish cloth colour, dash board colour and position of the handbrake lamp is that it could be either.
