Hey all you quattro heads.
I saw an old episode of Wheeler Dealers where they had to purchase a new clutch fluid reservoir for a 1985 quattro. The damn thing cost £65! ![]() Is that right? |

There was mention of it on here at the time, I think the cars are actually sold by the production company after the filming? i.e. Not to the 'buyers' on the show. Pick the off the street I think.
I remember a link to the sale, can't remember if it was an auction or on a Car and Classic type site. |

I watched that last night as well. These days a lot of people are using other reservoirs that do the same job for a fraction of the money. My mate has a brembo bike pot that cost 8 quid. Exactly the same size. On ebay theres a shagged looking one that the seller has been relisting for weeks and weeks - thats 45 quid!!
I remember seeing the link on here for the sale of this quattro. It never got sold to the bloke who buys it on the show - im sure somebody in the know says there was more wrong with it than was let on.
