Hi,
does anyone have a b2 hazard warning light switch that they would like to sell? The one in my car does not work and it`s causing havoc with my indicators. Thanks. |

They seem to play up if not used for a bit. I had same on a recent MOT and just kept switching on and of numerous times and eventually the buzzing went and it started working and I left it going for 10 mins and then off for MOT with no probs. I might just have been lucky, but to anyone who has these type of models I'd suggest giving them a try every few months. If you do that they seem to keep working
. I may have sparey, but do you need the early type or the later facelift version? Cheers. G. |

I've had success in dismantling ,cleaning & rebuilding ( and wiring in LEDs instead of the 'old' style bulbs that seem to last no time at all).

Hi guys,
thanks for all your replies.Big -T i think you are spot on,it is lack of use that causes them to play up.I will try your suggestion of on/off tomorrow. My car is the later face lift model ,if i can`t get mine to work and if you do happen to have a spare, that would be great. Val,my car is an 80 sport. Chris,i have tried dismantling and cleaning but it didn`t work on mine . |

No problem. I'm not home to check until Sunday, but I'm sure I have the later type as well. I know they both fit and you can change the casing, but easier to do a swap. I'll test it first! (Chris, I thought you could probably do that, but whether I'd be successful, I doubt. I have kept ones that have given trouble too; just in case one day that will be the only option!)

Is this what you're looking for? Only these left from audi 80.
![]() I also have audi 90 hazard switches, all 3 tested and lights upgraded with red diodes. ![]() |
