UK Number 5 UR

The fifth UR in the UK

is about to come onto the market, don't have much detail myself,

An old friend, Richard Smalley is doing some recommisioning work on it after a lay-up, MOT and such.

Just been looking at my info and It is defo a RHD conversion. as this car is an X reg, it was registered sometime between aug 1st 1981 and july 31st 1982. it has a single stage pull knob on the dash for the diff locks (same as my car) and etka shows that this configuration happened halfway through the BA chassis build (floor levers being obsolete by jan 82) so I would put this baby as being built sometime early in 82 and probably registered in spring 82.... thats my guess anyway. I'm pretty sure that this car has been featured in vw-audi driver and may have been a press car...I recognise the plate!!
