30mpg plus the rear arches where held together with moss, i bottled it so after another 80 (stick to what i know)

get a five pot and you won't be disapointed

at least you have some spare parts now

or just a tidy C/D reg sport, and rob yours for spares (can you find somewhere cheap to store it - I pay £20 a month on a farm)

Still got this Sport that needs to go. Totally sound - no rot, but will need a clutch at some point & a polish!! Cashed tax in & MOT now expired, but needs little to pass. Looking for around £300. p.m. if interested. Cheers. G.

I personally would go for this one. You will never get a Sport so cheap, and BigT80 knows a bit about 80s, as he has one or two......

ive sent him a pm being alittle cheeky, asking if he'd do it on the wrong side of £300, thing is im thinking of droping my diesel engine in it, swap any other bits other, good clean polish, mot, my orange wheels i used to have that are now kerbed, have them refurbed if poss and finished matt black. this all depends on the wife of course, you know how it is they never do understand

i am very interested, just gotta have a word with the wife about money, space (as my other 80 is taking the drive up) and the fact she doesnt see what i see when i look at 25 year old faded red car with no tax and test doesnt help!
