Earthquake free forum!!

Everywhere I look today, everyone is going on about some bloody earthquake in Lincolnshire (also known as the early Audi Capitial of the world!), am I the only one that didn't feel it?

We had one a few years ago and the epicentre was around Tipton! I mean Tipton of all places! No great loss if the whole town fell down some great abyss to be honest apart from a few local real ale pubs! Anyway, I'm about 8 mile from Tipton and again, I felt sod all!

about 15 years ago, there was one around the Telford area and I was driving along the A442 in Telford at the time in my trusty Maestro, and again, I felt feck all!


So, fact. THE EARTH DOES NOT MOVE FOR ME!!!

OK,well I felt it big style!!

Was awoken at 1am.I was doing a 9 day stint looking after 3 1/2 acres of land,10 labrador gundogs,2 cats,chickens and a hoofing great house.This is about 50 miles from Market Raisen where the epicentre was.

I f***ing shit it I did.Got up out of bed and enuinely did not know what to check first,dogs,home,where was the explosion,is the place on fire etc etc

Common sense kicked in then,umm the ground is rumbling and this could be good bye!!!So,ran to doggies to see if they were cool and they all were,phew!

Theres a big fook off wind turbine at this property too,so I was straight to its base with a torch!Hahaaaa-Paranoid Pete!!

All was well,but flippin ell!

If thats what an orgasm is like for a lady you can keep them!!

I felt it purely because it knocked most of my audi parts of the shelf and put a crack in my ceiling (500year old farm house granted...)

It was the 2nd biggest earthquake in the UK hence its significance but hardly deadly.
