According to my VAG service handbook dated 10/91 there were several dealers in SW London
Scotts of Sloane Square SW1 Scotts SW6 Dovercourt SW11 Balham Autos Limited SW12 Whites Wimbledon SW19 Although with it being a bit of a specialist vehicle I bet not all of these dealers were suppliers of quattros. Someone with a model specific knowledge may assist further Are any of them mentioned in any handbook or literature with the car? Service stamps/sales cards etc If not you can apply to DVLA using form V888 and for a fiver you'll get details of previous keepers and the original supplying dealer Hope this helps Last edited by cjp0349; 28-04-17 at 11:25 AM. |

Send a V888 to the DVLA. It costs a fiver & you get all the documentation they hold, which should include the registering dealer.

![]() Listed in service directory as Lonsdale (Catford) Ltd 8/10 Rushley Green London SE6 081-314-1021 If you haven't already done so Gmac have a look through the various DMB threads on the forum. Kenquattro and others have posted numerous original dealer plates and stickers If you can't find Lonsdale you can always make one to your own design with the details you have Like wot I did! ![]() |

Haha, that's the exact pic I've sent over to Dave, Ken. Cheers for posting though! And also to note that the postcode is SW13, which is different to the above post by cjp. SW13 is the postcode in my service book. Cheers fellas, looking forward to getting them now!!
