Audi B2 B3 coupe rear suspension

Can anyone tell me if the rear shocks from a Audi Coupe B2 FWD are interchangeable with a Audi Coupe B3 FWD, I do understand that the bound and rebound will be different, I am talking about the spring platform at the same height and the top and bottom connections being the same size.
