Shame its not injected ( or is it? ) and it's only a 4 speed....colour not my favourite either, but looks in wonderful condition.

But is it worth £8K ???

Very nice Frank! It's not injection,just look at the airbox trumpet with the vacuum controlled heater flap that allowed either hot or cold air to reach the carb depending on engine temp,i.e. when stone cold or hot.

Price i don't know.

Spoilt only by the modern stereo but I see the original is available and is that a speaker in the front passenger footwell?

It's a carb. engine Frank but is it worth it? I say yes, in fact if I had the ackers and a garage to put it in I'd be on my way to buy it now!!

iirc only the GLi was injected ( and that includes the Storm models.)

Thanks Guys for all the advice and apart from not having any space for any more cars, I'd not go for it as not only could I not afford it, but I'd probably never drive it either as it'd be one of those cars which you just don't want to get dirty or damaged.

But a very pretty little Scirocco for sure......
