Here we are lads and lasses with my nice old Coupe that I bought as a project. I just can't get enough hours in the day right now so I have to sell it to make way for other things.

It's a cracking driver and in the best possible colour. Whoever buys it won't be disappointed. I would love to keep it but you can't keep everything unfortunately.

Looks like a nice car, why was it bought as a project?

As some of you know on here I have been working on Audis for a long time now, and the thing that is noticeable about the 4 cylinder cars of that era is how well they handle, mainly due to better weight distribution. They also have better power to weight ratio with the smaller, lighter engine. So the idea with this car was to find a cheap or damaged A4 1.8 Turbo and transplant the engine and box, which is almost a straight fit, into the Coupe. You can easily chip these up to 225 brake and you have a rapid wee Coupe!

But I'm kidding myself on if I think I can get the time to do this in the next 10 years or so! So over to anyone else who wants to do it or just have a nice Coupe to keep. I reckon these are seriously going to appreciate as they are becoming very rare and have stonking build quality.

The outstanding thing about this car is the economy; it really is very good on fuel, probably down to the light weight.
