Default 7A fuel return union size

On the braided fuel lines supplying the rail, does anyone know what the thread size is for the union on the return line? The supply is M14x1.5 but the Return is larger, M16x1.5 perhaps?

Thanks

You sure ?

I used new fittings on the lines when I replaced them and they were both the same.

One of them is larger - you need a 19mm spanner instead of the 17mm on the other but the internal threads are the same

I bought m14x1.5 fittings and they fit the smaller one!

M16x1.5 seems to be an odd size for 5/16 line. 3/8 perhaps...might be easier to get a different braided fuel line!

I think it is M16 mate, they are different sizes so you don't mix them up
Don't think they are commercially available for 8mm tube. See if someone breaking a B3 or B4 car can chop them off for you

I guess I must have re-used the original - apologies.

You can get M16 x 1.5mm for 10mm pipe from Clarik Engineering supplies - not seen them for 8mm pipe

Messaged him and he got back to me really quick - not got anything in at the moment.

I did find a reducer bush that would make the thread M12x1.5 and I *think* that's the size of one of the fittings, though it might only be the thread on the banjo, in which case I think I can use that. I figured it'd work because the seal is with the pipe flare end and not the thread so I've ordered one to try.
