Default Issues with my odometer

Been a few weeks but I'm back, my car has developed some new faults to keep me busy, it's good like that.

The odometer has decided to stop altogether, not the end of the world and the speedo has began to work intermittently reading perfect on occasions, then not moving at all on other times.

Would this just be the plug going into the back at fault or is their another possible cause? I've got very little free time at the moment and don't want to remove the clocks in case their is an easier solution.

Thanks for any help!

No idea where to look first, but I will have a look at sensors connectors to gearbox first then as I'm guessing that's going to be easiest thing to check first then? Cheers for help

My 85' 100 has a perfect working speedo but the miles aren't racking up. Is this a plug or electrical or something else

Should be something with internal mechanism - because your A100 should have speedo driven by cable.
