On a more positive note it's an excellent candidate for a 20VT transplant I love the way there are 2 pictures of the front wing, one even closer, in case you missed it first time

If you cant fix it with gaffer tape and a hammer, its an electrical problem

Default I had to buy it.

Far from as bad as it looks, comes with all the parts and more to make a really good car , mechanically only done 45k. Will try to make it as nice as poss, has factory air con and no sunroof. Winter should see it finished. This was the unfinished car for sale in scotland a few years ago with all reconditioned/new mechanicals fitted to another shell. drives as well as my low mileage 90 20v quattro.
